The Vision Miner 22 IDEX V4 is an uncompromisingly designed industrial high-temperature FDM 3D printer for demanding applications in production, maintenance, research, and development. Developed by Vision Miner , the system is specifically aimed at companies that need to reliably and reproducibly process high-performance thermoplastics such as PEEK, PEKK, ULTEM™ 9085/1010, PPSU, as well as carbon and glass fiber reinforced materials.
At the heart of the system are two independently operating IDEX extruders with a nozzle temperature of up to 500 °C , combined with an actively heated build chamber (> 100 °C) and a mechanically self-leveling 200 °C build platform with a triple Z-axis . This interplay enables low-stress components, excellent layer adhesion, and dimensional accuracy – even with large-volume functional components.
The 22 IDEX V4 is designed for continuous industrial use: an extremely rigid construction with linear guides, high-temperature motors, wide Kevlar belts, and Duet 3 electronics with open RepRap firmware ensures long-term precision and full control. Thanks to its open material system, users are not limited to proprietary filaments and can freely use any 1.75 mm material.
For safe operation in the production environment, the system features HEPA and activated carbon filtration as standard, extensive protection mechanisms against overheating and electrical faults, and integrated filament drying in the heated build chamber – a crucial advantage when using hygroscopic high-performance polymers.
With a build volume of 350 × 350 × 450 mm , IDEX functions such as mirror and duplicate printing, and preparation for future non-planar and multi-axis printing processes, the Vision Miner 22 IDEX V4 is a future-proof platform for professional additive manufacturing at shop-floor level.
